This privacy policy describes how STEVEN JIANG ("we") handles information in Prajna SSH Terminal (the "App").
Prajna SSH Terminal is a direct SSH client. It has no developer-operated server, relay, account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking service. The App connects to the SSH server that you choose.
The App stores saved host profiles and trusted SSH host-key fingerprints in its local preferences. SSH account passwords, one OpenSSH private key, and its optional passphrase are stored in Apple Keychain with WhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly accessibility and are not synced by the App.
Active SSH sessions, terminal output, terminal history, and current-directory information remain in memory while the App runs and are not intentionally persisted after exit. Temporary files may be created in the App's private container while an SFTP transfer is in progress.
Deleting a saved host removes its saved account password. You can separately forget a trusted host key or delete the imported private key. Deleting the App removes local App data according to Apple's platform behavior.
When you connect, the App sends the username, authentication material, terminal input, and terminal resize events needed to use the server and port entered by you. SFTP operations send the requested paths and file contents to that server.
This traffic goes directly to the selected server. We do not receive, store, inspect, or use it. The remote server operator may process it under that operator's own privacy policy. An upload may create temporary or backup files on the remote server; the App cleans these up on normal completion where possible.
We do not collect or sell personal information through the App. We do not use advertising, cross-app tracking, behavioral profiling, analytics, or developer-operated telemetry. We do not receive SSH credentials, terminal content, host profiles, host-key fingerprints, or transferred files.
Apple may provide diagnostics or crash reports according to your device settings and Apple's policies. Those platform services are controlled by Apple, not by Prajna SSH Terminal.
The App bundles SwiftTerm and Rust libraries for terminal rendering and SSH/SFTP. They are not used to provide analytics, advertising, accounts, or a relay service.
The App uses SSH transport encryption and requires explicit host-key trust for a new server. You are responsible for verifying the displayed fingerprint through a trusted channel and securing the remote server, its accounts, and its backups. No software can guarantee absolute security.
The App is a developer utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can remove saved hosts, passwords, trusted host keys, private keys, and other local App data using the App's controls or by deleting the App. Information already sent to a remote SSH server must be managed on that server.
